This message comes from Lt. Commander Lenehan. This is a follow-up meeting to one held previously on safety and security in the Central Square/Lynn MBTA station and garage.
When: Tuesday, September 14, 2010 7:15 PM-8:45 PM.
Where: North Shore Community College, Room T105, Lynn, MA
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Good afternoon, all.
Chief Puska of the North Shore Community College has secured a room for us all to meet in at North Shore Community College. It is T105 and is located on the Market Street side of the Lynn Station parking garage. The room can hold 35-40 people which should meet our needs. I would request RSVPs so that we become aware if our attendance may begin to strain capacity.
I have listed the meeting start time as 7:15pm as there is an outbound train that arrives at Lynn Station at 7:06p.m. This will afford an opportunity for anyone who takes that train to attend the meeting.
I hope to see you all there. Have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend.

I want to let you know about the recent efforts of some downtown residents and DTLna members to get the MBTA/MBCR to clean up its act.
At recent meetings, many have remarked on safety concerns, crime, and lack of regular maintenance.
Area bloggers are doing their part with posts like these: http://www.downtownlynn.com/2010/07/monday-tuesday-pukey-days-wednesday.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+DowntownLynn+%28Downtown+Lynn%2C+Massachusetts%29

But, you don’t have to be a blogger to make a difference. Please consider writing to
John Hogan
Director of Safety and Security, MBCR
89 South Street, 8th Floor
Boston, MA 02111
email – John.Hogan@mbcr.net
Rep. Steve Walsh is passing our concerns on to the T as well. Please cc. him on your letter and let him know of any issues you encounter using the Central Sq Garage and stop – Rep.StevenWalsh@hou.state.ma.us
Quite a few have already written letters (see the sample on lynnexperiment.com), but we need to keep on top of the T and we need to let them know we’re not just a small group of concerned citizens, but representative of many commuters.
Thanks,
Seth
